With releasing the report on pharmaceutical consumption patterns in South Baltic Sea regions, MORPHEUS closes one of the main gaps to estimate the emission of pharmaceuticals into the wastewater system and consequently – without sufficient removal at WWTPs – into the environment of the South Baltic Sea regions.
